Welcome to Herbie Hearts

Wording to add - thoughts- ideas

1: Warm and conversational (Best for an "About" page)
This project didn't start as a grand plan; it started with a doodle. Sitting at the table on Father's Day—my first without my dad—I found myself drawing hearts while thinking of him. As I added his signature hat and a cigar, I couldn't help but smile and giggle. I realized, this is him, but he just needed his favorite fishing vest. From that little sketch, this website was born.

2: Short and sweet (Best for social media or a quick bio)
I started this website after a simple doodle brought a smile to my face on my first Father's Day without my dad. While sketching, I added his hat and a cigar to a few hearts, but it wasn't complete until I gave him his signature fishing vest. That moment of joy inspired me to share this with you.

3: A bit more emotional and heartfelt
My dad passed away recently, and this year marked my very first Father's Day without him. While sitting and thinking of him, I started doodling hearts. When I added his hat and a cigar to the drawings, I found myself actually smiling and giggling. I thought to myself, this is definitely him, he just needs his everyday fishing vest. That memory and moment of joy sparked the idea for this website.

  • Fishing lines and big smiles, he lived life out loud.

  • Chasing wild rivers and happy roads, he left a trail of love.

  • A wild heart of nature who loved big and laughed hard.

  • Eight months gone, but his bright spark still sticks with us.
